1. Description: The Time of Flight sensor is another excellent time-of-flight distance sensor in the ST VL5 series chips, which is very suitable for shorter distances. This sensor contains a very small invisible laser source and a matching sensor. VL53L4CD can detect the time of flight, i.e. the time it takes for the light to reflect back to the sensor. Due to the use of a very narrow light source, it is advantageous to determine only the distance from the front. Unlike sonar, which reflects ultrasonic waves, the sensor cone is very narrow. This sensor is small and can be easily used in any robot or interactive project. Since it requires a 2.8V power supply and logic, we placed this small sensor on a distribution board with voltage regulator and level conversion. You can safely use it with any 3-5V power supply or logic microcontroller. 2. Function: High performance proximity sensor. 2>.0 to 1300 millimetres, full field of view (FoV) Short distance linearity of only 1 mm. The diagonal field of view is 18°. 5>.Autonomous power saving mode with programmable interrupt threshold to wake up the host Fast range frequency up to 100 Hz. 3.
