Due to this cable is unbalanced design, so no matter the ouput signal is BAL or Unbal, you will only get Unbal signal at XLR end. Unbalanced signal is more powerful when connected to speakers. Customers mostly use it on mixing board, audio interface, studio monitor, etc.
- Not for High-Z connection Unbalanced quarter inch to XLR male cable is not suitable for High-Z connection. Please do not use it connect guitar, bass, keyboard, electric drum, etc. Due to mismatch impedance issue, the XLR input device won't receive clear signal. This cable is suitable for connection between low-Z 1/4" jack and low-Z XLR jack.
- Specification This unbalanced 6.35mm to XLR male cable is 15 feet long. The wire is nylon braided, it's super strong and heavy duty. The cable is thick but will give a quality soft feeling. The core conductor is full covered with spiral OFC (free oxygen copper), under this OFC layer there is also aluminum foil layer. This two layter can protect the cable from the environmental interference. The 1/4" connector is gold plated design, it can reduce signal distortion.
