The light sensor module has a built-in 4-channel 16-bit ADC, which simultaneously delivers red, green and blue brightness values with a dynamic range of up to 3,800,000:1, so that accurate data can be determined even behind darkened glass. The light sensor module transmits data at high speed via a standard PCM I²C to the motherboard, supports serial rates up to 400 kHz and provides programmable analogue gain and integration time to adapt to different lighting environments.
