The universal saw band of the Sägeband-Manufaktur for sawing different materials in a practical pack of 3. The metal saw band offered here is in the dimensions 13 x 0.65 mm with a tooth pitch of 14/18 teeth per inch and a length of 1435 mm. M42 HSS bi-metal saw bands are characterised by a long service life. The patented production of the carrier steel also minimises the risk of band breakage. The robust M42 HSS cutting edge also provides excellent heat and wear resistance and lasts up to 10 times longer than conventional carbon steel saw bands. The metal saw band is suitable for sawing unalloyed carbon steels, aluminium/non-ferrous steel, structural steels, tool steels, stainless steels and light metal alloys. The advanced tooth geometry of the saw bands allows the sawing of solid materials and profiles. Please note that this bi-metal saw blade can be used for sawing solid material with a material cross section up to 10 - 20 mm. When sawing pipes and thin-walled profiles, please note the wall thickness (S in mm) and the outer diameter (D in mm). The following values are obtained for this tape with the given toothing: wall thickness 1-3 mm to max. 60 mm diameter, wall thickness 3 to 8 mm to max. 20mm diameter A positive rake angle improves the penetration of teeth in band saws of the teeth on band saws with a limited feed force. The unique tooth geometry and cabinet also minimises the noise and vibration from the very first cut.
