This is a great battery buffered real-time clock (RTC) that allows your microcontroller project to keep track of time even when it is reprogrammed or power fails. Perfect for data acquisition, clock creation, time stamps, timers and alarms, etc. Equipped with PCF8523 RTC, it can be powered by 3.3V or 5V power and logic. Note: This product does not come with a CR1220 button cell battery. We recommend you buy a button cell battery that you can use with this product.
