Description: The TSL2561 Luminosity Sensor Breakout is a sophisticated light sensor that has a flat frequency response over most of the visible spectrum. Unlike simpler sensors, the TSL2561 measures both infrared and visible light to better map the response of the human eye. And since the TSL2561 is an integrated sensor (it absorbs light for a predetermined time), it is able to measure both small and large amounts of light by changing the integration time. The TSL2561 is capable of directly operating I2C communications and is able to conduct specific light ranges from 0.1 - 40k+ Lux without any problems. In addition, the TSL12561 includes two integrated analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that integrate currents from two photodiodes simultaneously.
