Adafruit LSM6DSO32 6-DoF Stemma QT/Qwiic 4692 Accelerometer and Gyroscope

Here the ST LSM6DSO32 comes into action: the latest 6-DOF IMU sensor from ST, ideal for those looking for peak performance. This IMU module brings everything you know from the LSM6DSOX, but with a crucial upgrade – the accelerometer now goes up to an impressive 32g! Here are the highlights: Features: 6 degrees of freedom: 3 for linear acceleration and 3 for rotation speed. Extra features such as tap detection, pedometer and a programmable state machine. Connection options: Compatible with SPI or I2C. Two configurable interrupt pins. External I2C/SPI port for e.g. image stabilization. To get you started, the sensor comes on a compact breakout board with voltage control. You can use it with 3V or 5V power/logic. Our libraries help you integrate with Arduino/C++ or CircuitPython/Python, ideal for boards like Raspberry Pi. Thanks to I2C connections, two cables (plus power and ground) are sufficient. And: the STEMMA QT compatible connectors make soldering unnecessary. You can also find the right QT cable in our shop.

Product Features

  • High precision with the ST LSM6DSO32 you get a state-of-the-art 6-DOF IMU sensor that allows extremely precise measurements of linear accelerations and rotation speeds in multiple axes. Ideal for your projects!
  • Adjustable sensitivity you can choose between different sensitivities: the accelerometer ranges from 4 to 32 g, while the gyroscope range ranges from 125 to 2000 dps. So you have the control you need!
  • Easy connection: thanks to the support for SPI and I2C, you can easily connect the sensor to your microcontrollers. With the included STEMMA QT connectors, you don't even need soldering skills
  • Intelligent functions The ST LSM6DSO32 offers cool additional functions such as pedometer, activity and gesture recognition, making it perfect for fitness and smart home applications. Let your creativity run wild
  • Fair start with libraries We have created helpful libraries for Arduino/C++ and CircuitPython/Python so you can start with the sensor in a flash. This makes integration into your projects a breeze!
