Product Features

• A 4-lane high-density connector is used for SAS and SATA data transfer. Four individual 7-pin SATA connectors connect HDDs or SSDs. These connectors are used in storage arrays where high-speed data transfer between SAS controllers and SATA storage devices is required.
• SFF-8643 is the host; connect to the motherboard or RAID Controller with Mini SAS ports. 4x7Pin SATA is the target; connect to the hard drives with SATA ports.
• The new SFF-8643 connector uses less PCB real estate and allows higher port density for internal hosts and devices. Provides point data transfer speeds up to 6 Gbit/s.
• It offers a cost-effective way to connect SAS controllers to storage devices while maintaining high performance. The short cable length and right-angle connectors make it easy to route and manage within server enclosures.
• Before buying this cable, please ensure the Mini SAS (SFF-8643) on your motherboard or RAID Controller. If the Mini SAS (SFF-8643) on your backplane, this cable will not work with them.
